The Opportunity

We are looking for a reliable, passionate, and enthusiastic person to join our team.
818³Ô¹Ï has a highly regarded and active Co-curricular Performing Arts program within 818³Ô¹Ï Academy and is currently seeking a Strings Music Instructor on a casual basis, supported by our Director and administrative support staff.

About you

This position would suit someone with a commitment to the ethos, Christian values and teachings of the College. The suitable candidate will also have:
> Formal qualifications at degree level, relevant to the position
> Current drivers licence (C class) and own transport
> Ability to teach Primary and Secondary students
> Ability to teach Dept of Education Instrumental Music Curriculum
> Ability to prepare students for external examinations (ie AMEB/Trinity)
> Preference for lower strings specialist but ability to teach upper strings
> Experience in teaching in both a group and private lesson context
> Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary issues in music education.
> Working with Children accreditation (Blue Card) or ability to obtain this accreditation
